Creating the Perfect Halloween - Party SuppliesHalloween parties are so much fun to plan!  There are so many excellent Halloween party themes to choose from, you might have a little trouble making up your mind.  However, we’ve got some hints here to help you plan your party as you browse through the selections of Halloween party favors and Halloween party invites.  We have lots of ideas for a party, including ideas for Halloween party foods, Halloween party games for kids, Halloween party games for adults and even Halloween party songs so you can let the music play.

When you are deciding on a theme for your Halloween party, the first thing to consider is the age group.  Is the Halloween party strictly for kids, teens or adults?  Or is your Halloween party going to be for families?  The age group of your guests can help you decide on the types of Halloween decorations, Halloween party foods and what types of Halloween entertainment you should have; will you need Halloween party games for kids only or should you have some Halloween party games for adults too?

Another thing to consider when planning Halloween parties is they types of matching paper items available.  For instance, Halloween theme parties should have matching plates, napkins, cups, etc…  There are several nice sets of Halloween party kits that also include Halloween table decorations.  Sometimes you can find Halloween party invites that also match the Halloween party paper goods.

You’ll also want to decide on what type of room décor for your party.  You may want to decorate lavishly with everything from Halloween wall hangings to life-sized animated figures.  Or, you may prefer to use autumn decorations that can stay up until after Thanksgiving.  Either way, the Halloween party theme you choose needs to incorporate paper party goods that complement the party decorations.

Entertainment is a large part of a Halloween party.  Not only will you have to preplan on some Halloween party games, you can keep people entertained with various party props that are sure to keep the conversations flowing.  For instance, instead of a typical punch bowl, you can fill the “In My Veins Drink Dispenser” (which looks like an IV bottle on a regular IV stand) with red punch or Bloody Mary’s if the party is for adults.  As an alternative, you can fill a plastic cauldron with punch and float items like plastic fingers or a plastic skull in it.

Also for entertainment, you’ll have to pick out some Halloween songs geared towards the age of your guests.  Teens love a dance party, but will it be a real dance without old favorites like “the Monster Mash”?  Young children love music too and are quick to sing along to music that is geared for their age group.  Adults are liable to dance or sing to just about any music, depending on how festive they feel.  However, spooky theme songs from old shows like the “Outer Limits” will also spark conversations among the adults.

This is the time to start thinking about various Halloween party themes and making plans—make it fun!  As you go through our site reading our ideas for Halloween parties, we hope it will spark your imagination!
