St. Pauli Girl Costume

A St. Paulie girl costume for Halloween, Oktoberfest, St. Patrick’s Day or any time when beer is near would be fun.  The fact that you can use a St. Paulie girl’s costume for so many different occasions makes it an economical addition to a costume wardrobe.  Whether you’re serving up or drinking up the beers, you’re sure to have fun in a St. Paulie girl costume.

St. Pauli Girl™ beer first came to the U.S. in 1965, but it wasn’t national until 1975.  There are three brews of St. Pauli Girl™ beer including a non-alcoholic version.  There is also a lager and a special dark version of the beer.    St. Pauli Girl™ beer starting selecting models to represent the company in 1982 and continues to use this advertising technique.  Each selected model has appeared on a poster.  Always, she is clad in the same style attire to remind people of a German bar maid.

Since there is so much inference of beer with a St. Paulie’s girl costume, these costumes can be used for far more than Halloween.   Aside from occasions previously mentioned in this article, it would be fun to wear the costume at special events as well.  Beer booths are often set up at sports events and a St. Paulie girl would fit right in.  The costume would also be appropriate for a beer booth in a fair whether it’s a small school fair or a large county fair.
